I know everyone wants to know that but I don’t want to publicly announce that info. I appreciate the interest in my video.

I think I know the guy who bought your 7.0 Bats 6 (from the CGC boards). I bought the restored 7.0 he was replacing.

Also, that is definitely a beautiful Pirate Gold issue. Who knew back then it’d eventually be worth more than its weight in gold? :)

Dude.. How old are you? 45? You have a Spiderman bed spread. Your mom pack your lunch and make your bed? Ever see a woman naked? You have to get your jollies by showing off? Little insecure. Kissing your books? God knows what else you do to them.

Yes Mr. DickLicker I get my jollies by showing off my collection of books you could probably never afford. You make references to my sex life but call yourself “DickLick”. Hmmmm.

Carl barks was with the Disney cartoons being first an inbetweener then an ideaman in the duck-department. Thanks for sharing this great issue – gosh it’s in nice condition… Holy grale, that is true.
Never mind the DickLick person below – some people can’t understand why we like comic books

Have you ever just wanted to crack open those cases and read those stories. I know if I had those old issues I’d want to read all those original stories.

My brother feels the same way and hates slabbed comics. Yes I would like to be able to read these classics, especially the WWII era issues with war themed stories. I’ve currently read 2 books in my collection, a lower grade copy of four color #178 mainly to see the uncle scrooge story and a re-print copy of four color #386. However, the dollar element keeps ‘em in the cases.

I find it a paradox. On the one hand the cases protect the comic and its value and authenticate the grade but they also make it imposible to see, read and appreciate the comic.

    i agree,
i was thinking to my self on the future of comics, and thought digital formats to come will never replace the feeling of cradling a comic on one hand and flipping the pages with the other. that is the act of keeping Comic Books. that CGC will freeze it! for Good or for Bad!

Actually, I need to do whatever I want since I earned this privilage and not worry/care about what other people think.

well I never heard of someone earning the privilage to be pathetic but you certainly have.

Perhaps if you ever “prosper”, then you can set an example to which people will admire as opposed to being the bitter, lonely person you no doubt are. In the meantime, I’m gonna continue being “pathetic” ( because I can), while you continue watching ( I know you will ).
