It’s always nice to see another collector put their issues up on youtube. You need to create something tlike my wall so you can have them out on display all the time, unless you don’t use that couch much! Your Platinum edition of Spidey number one is sweet – I had my eye on a 9.8 and I bid quite a bit on it, but my wife wouldn’t let me go over $800 and it sold for $900 so I was SO CLOSE, but it’s all good.

I should have another video up next week when I buy some more building supplies. I’ve got about 50 CGC’s that don’t have a home, so since I’m off for the holidays, I’m gonna try and get off my lazy ass and get that done. Cheers!

That’s too bad dude, High grade Platinum Spidey’s are really hard to find because of how they were distributed. Mine’s a 9.0 and I was happy to get that! I’ve been looking into putting them on the wall. Still deciding if I want to use shelves or mount them individually with brackets.

Hey, I could use that 9.8 Ghost Rider that you have. Interested in a trade? I have a Daredevil #200 CGC 9.4 Signature Series signed by John Byrne. I don’t like Signature Series, but I bought it because it’s one of the best comic covers out there. Let me know if you’re interested…

Awesome collection dude! People need to do this more often, cause youtube is infected with videos of manga collections or video game collections, but when it comes to comic books… its rare to find vids. I have a pretty good collection myself, mostly Uncanny X-Men though, but its a big one, think I have more than 300 rght now.

Thank you and I agree. I plan on posting more videos of my collection, both loose and future CGC as I get them. Nest will be my Variants & Keys video with over 100 books waiting to be graded. My near complete Avengers run will be up here too as soon as I find the time to post it.

The only thing that worries me about grading is how do you then read the comic..
Granted, a lot of titles reprint the titles in book form (like the recent Buffy season 8 by Joss Whedon)
And maybe its better to read some titles in one sitting like that
But one shots and stuff like that.. you’re gonna HAVE to read the comic. Not unless you scan it or something..

Little over 3 years of dropping my books off at the CGC booth when I’d go to cons. Check out DJdeadkyDALEK he’s got a lot more then me.

I’m a CGC nutcase. I have Uncanny X-men #95 in 9.4 coming in the mail from Florida – really sweet issue with high gloss for the cover colours. I’ll have to make a new video when it comes in. Cost me almost $300

basicly they rate you’re comics up to 10 they will give it a 9.9 if it’s good or something along those lines. but it’s almost impossible to get a 10 because they have to take the comic out and put it in the case… which i’m sure lowers the value. (but i could be wrong.
